I see where you’re coming from, and I’m with Meredith in that I NEVER show PDA around my friends and only share very few, vague details with my friends when drunk (but share it all to strangers on the internet), but something like that is definitely something I would tell my friends. I would tell very few of them, but it’d be more as a get-it-off-my-chest thing, maybe to ask advice and receive consolation. I see why things like that should stay in a relationship, but at the same time my friends are my backbone and I rely on them for almost all of my outside emotional support. Then again, I’m only nineteen, so I feel like that will probably change as I age.
AND, my friends aren’t the type who would tell anyone, so I wouldn’t have to worry about a stranger at a bar approaching my boyfriend and blabbing to him.
