This
course approaches the study of US American culture from the perspective of British
brands and products, in order to evaluate the cultural, historical and economic
sides of product marketing strategies that these brands employ. This approach
allows for the student to learn specific vocabulary, develop analysis tools to
read and interpret an ad, and become familiar with the cultural aspects used in
the USA to promote and market quintessentially US American products.
