The objective of this course is to help students progress from B1-B2 level, which they have upon leaving high school, to C1 level "experienced user" (in reference to the CEFR). More precisely, it is a question of understanding the mechanisms of the English language through the analysis of texts or sentences. Comparative techniques (if appropriate) will be encouraged. Repeated training sessions will be conducted on the basis of authentic texts: articles, excerpts from speeches or adapted works.
