Hello y'all (Business English L2 students),
To help you review for your midterm exam (Class 5), here are some of the elements you must be able to do on this exam. The midterm will check your ability :
1) to present the operations of a given company (including its history, moments of crisis, CEO, headquarters, identity... => you need to review ALL vocab from Classes 3 & 4.
2) to analyse how a company has grown, from a narrow product mix to a more diversified product mix. You will need to be able to talk about brand extension and how the brand has chosen to differentiate itself. => you need to review ALL vocab and exercises from Classes 1, 2 & 3.
3) to write a product's sales pitch, presenting size, characteristics of a product, classification of the product, etc. => you need to review ALL vocab and exercises from Classes 1 & 2.
Your grade for each exercise will reflect :
- Your knowlege and ability to use Business English and Marketing Terminology.
- Your Level of English (conjugations, syntax, use of tenses, vocabulary)
- Your Professionalism (Use of Action verbs, NO Frenglish, No Transparent words)
